Bridgeport Waterfront Resort in Door County comes fully equipped for family swimming year round! Located indoors is a pool, whirlpool, sauna and children’s splash play area. Outside there is an outdoor pool with a waterfall.

Question: Does my reservation come with a pass to the waterpark?
Answer: No… Bridgeport Resort does not have a waterpark. The Bridgeport Resort has an Indoor Splash Park. The Indoor Splash Park is set apart from our regular pool and whirlpool. The splash park features zero depth entry with the deepest area being about one foot in depth, a five foot slide, a fourteen foot lighthouse with rotating beacon, floppy fire hoses and floor squirters all guaranteed to entertain the younger kids for hours! For older kids… or just kids at heart we have a basketball hoop for use in our large indoor pool.
Question: What are the pool hours?
Answer: The indoor pool area is open year round. The pool opens daily at 8:00 p.m. and the earliest closing time is 10:30 p.m. During the summer and on weekends, the indoor pool stays open until 11:30 p.m. The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The outdoor pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Question: Do you have heated pools?
Answer: Yes. The pools are heated to eighty degrees and the whirlpool is one hundred degrees. If you start feeling cold, step into the sauna… you will be toasty in a flash!
Question: Do I need to bring a towel with me?
Answer: No… although you are welcome to do so if you wish. Bridgeport Resort does keep plenty of towels in the pool area for you to use.
Question: May I bring my floaties?
Answer: Absolutely. You may use floaties, a life jacket or any other pool toys you would like. Bridgeport Resort does have a supply of pool toys available in the pool room for your use. There are noodles, balls, some floating boards, etc. We also sell goggles and swimming diapers at the front desk if you need these items.
Question: What conditions cause the pool to be closed when it is scheduled to be open?
Answer: The Bridgeport Resort pool closes when swimming conditions would be unsafe as required by law. Examples would include inclement weather such as thunderstorms or unsafe matter in the pool such as blood or fecal matter. Bridgeport Resort follows all legal regulations for cleaning the pool area, restoring the correct levels of chemicals and ensuring the correct temperature before reopening the area. The length of the time of the pool closing is determined by each incident. The staff keeps signs posted in the area with expected times.
Question: Can a day pass be purchased for the pool?
Answer: No… use of the pool facilities at Bridgeport Resort only comes with Room Reservations. If you are only looking for a great place to go swimming in Sturgeon Bay, try the Door County YMCA. The YMCA does offer day passes and is conveniently located at 1900 Michigan Street. The phone number for the Sturgeon Bay YMCA is 920-743-4949. You can also view their pool schedule online.
Question: Does a Meeting Room rental come with use of the Bridgeport Resort Pool?
Answer: No… use of the pool facilities at Bridgeport Resort only comes with Room Reservations.
Question: If I reserve a room at Bridgeport Resort, may I have a birthday party and use the pool?
Answer: Bridgeport Resort is very family friendly and a great place for a birthday party. In order to make sure that all of our guests at Bridgeport Resort are able to enjoy the pool facilities without having the area become overcrowded, we do regulate the amount of people that each room is able to have in the pool.
